Training has been, and will continue to be a lifelong passion for me. By committing to a structured training program, (and by committing I mean turning it into a habit – not a chore) I not only prioritize my physical and mental wellbeing, I apply that principle to as many other areas of life that I can.
This is not about training and eating to achieve a certain ‘look’. It is about achieving maximum physical functionality and health. No doubt you will achieve some impressive physique changes as a bonus – but it should not be the motivating factor.
Attaining your PEAK physical capabilities for muscle mass, speed, explosive power, agility and endurance, alongside a healthy and sustainable body composition are the aim here.
We owe it not only to ourselves, but to our friends and family, to achieve and maintain our peak physical capability, and our health and wellbeing.
These basic programs are the foundation for you to build upon. You can select a split based on the available days you have to train. A full body training program is an excellent foundation for building strength and lean mass. As you adapt, and increase in training volume and load, you can progress to a 2 day or 3 day split. Each of you is unique with your own recovery capabilites. What works best for one man may not work as well for another. Your end goal should be to work out what amount of volume, rest, intensity and which exercises work best for YOU.

Without these basic concepts, not only are you increasing the likelihood of injury, but you are also setting yourself up for disappointment.
There are so many books, articles, and information on nutrition these days that it has become downright confusing.
Everyone seems to come up with a new diet, guaranteeing you the results of your dreams within a very short period of time.
There is no magic shortcut. You must understand that good nutrition, combined with consistent and specific training, produce results over time. The more time that both these principles are applied consistently, the greater the results.
No doubt you’ve heard the term thrown around before, but just what is a training split?
If we look at the body as a whole, that is – we want to train ALL the major muscle groups in our body
Now in order to expose each of those muscle groups to enough volume to promote adaptation (muscle or strength gains) as your training experience grows, so to will the amount of time it takes to train your entire body.
